A SPODE PORCELAIN LIZARD BOTTLE & STOPPER. CIRCA 1808-10.

Of simple bottle shape with a domed stopper, with the crest of a bird reserved in white relief on the neck, and decorated in pattern 1139, with two large sprays of flowers against a fine gilt scale ground. Height: 10.4cms. Marked 1189.

Exhibited: Spode Bicentenary exhibition 1970, number 252.
