Description: A fine quality Old Sheffield Plate Regency period cake/fruit basket by Mathew Boulton, circa 1820. Of dished oblong form raised on a foot and with a swing handle, and with a double wide cast silver border. Gadroon and foliate to the outer and grape and vine leaves to the inner.
