FLIGHT, BARR & BARR, WORCESTER Circa 1815

A fine early Worcester jug of bellied form, with an elegant sparrow-beak spout, decorated in a delicate pink ground and enriched with gilded bands and classical ornamentation. The centre beautifully painted in full colour with a finely detailed oval landscape view of Kirkstall Abbey, Yorkshire, the subject titled beneath. The underside fully marked: Flight, Barr & Barr, Royal Porcelain Works, Worcester, London House, 1 Coventry Street.

Height: 4½ inches.

An attractive and finely decorated example of early Flight, Barr & Barr porcelain, combining an evocative topographical view with elegant Regency styling.
