A SPODE MINIATURE OR TOY TEA SERVICE CIRCA 1805-10

Decorated in pattern 878 with elaborate gilt borders  and flower heads against an orange ground. Comprising a teapot and cover, Sucrier & cover, jug, bowl, and six cups & saucers, marked Spode 878. Formed and decorated in the manner of full sized wares demonstrating Spode’s skill in producing miniature porcelain for the fashionable Regency nursery & collectors novelties.
