A Magnificent Spode Porcelain Krater Vase and Cover, circa 1820
Of classical Roman form, the pot-pourri vase on a square base with raised scale-patterned ring handles, finely painted with Pattern 1166 of flowers on a blue ground, enriched with gilded scales.
Provenance:
The Copeland China Collection, Trelissick House.
Previously housed at Kibblestone Hall; purchased by Ronald Copeland in 1931.
