A Barr, Flight & Barr, Worcester Porcelain Chamberstick
Circa 1804–1813

Of small size and cylindrical form with a gently flared rim, raised on a spreading circular foot with gilt edge and a white “pearl”-beaded band. The loop handle formed as a finely modelled gilt serpent. The body decorated with a central monochrome panel depicting a dancing nymph, reserved against a pale turquoise ground, and bordered by a band of finely tooled neoclassical gilt ornament.

Fully marked in script to the underside: “Barr Flight & Barr Worcester / Flight & Barr Coventry St., London / Manufacturers to their Majesties & the Royal Family.”

Height: 3.25 in.

The elaborate mark underscores the firm’s prestigious London retail presence and royal connections.
