AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY COALPORT PORCELAIN TEACUP & SAUCER, CIRCA 1820. Each piece is finely decorated with a wide continuous band of brightly painted flowers, naturalistically rendered and reserved against a rich solid gilt ground. The design is framed within gilt bands. Elegant and visually sumptuous, the set reflects the refined taste and high level of craftsmanship associated with Coalport porcelain in the Regency period.
