A SUPERB BARR FLIGHT AND BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN BUTTER DISH & COVERs, CIRCA 1807-13. In three circular sections, the base with inner and outer concentric compartments, the outer for crushed ice, the inner for serving caviar or butter. This is covered by a two gilt handled pierced cover, topped with a domed lid with a gilt handle. Beautifully decorated with gilt vermiculi, gilt bands bands of scrolling foliage with anthemion and conucopia., reserved on a pale peach ground. Full red script makers mark referring to Their Majesties, Prince of Wales and Royal Family under lid.
