Description:

A BARR FLIGHT AND BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN DISH & COVER,  CIRCA 1810-13. The domed cover with a gilt acorn finial over the dish. Both pieces with gilt vermiculi decoration within gilt bands and reserved on a pale peach ground. The front of the cover and the middle of the dish painted en grisaille with a coronet and crest. Marked under the cover in red with the most elaborate of marks. The Royal Cypher and Prince of Wales Feathers and Flight Barr & Barr Proprietors of the Royal Porcelain Works Worcester Established 1751, set within a round with the text Manufacturers to their Majesties and the Prince Regent. London Warehouse No: 1 Coventry Street.
