AN IMPORTANT REGENCY PERIOD CONVEX GIRANDOLE MIRROR, CIRCA 1815.A very fine quality carved, ebonised and gilt convex mirror with multiple elements combing to create a stunning wall piece. Surmounted by an ebonised and gilt eagle on a rocky outcrop, the convex plate with an ebony reeded slip and profuse bead and ball decoration & applied acanthus volutes. Below are magnificent twisted serpents arising from a gilt and ebonised flower apron and flanked a pair of crystal hung candle arms.
