Description:

A MAGNIFICENT SET OF TWELVE  BARR FFLIGHT & BARR DESSERT PLATES, CIRCA 1810-13. Beautifully decorated in a rich pattern of continuous gilt vermicelli seaweed pattern reserved on a pale salmon ground, highlighted with gilded classical motifs and superbly painted full colour named scenes to the centres.

Full marks under: Flight Barr & Barr Proprietors of the Royal Porcelain Works Worcester Est 1751, and with the Royal cypher and Prince of Wales feathers. Set within a round quoting Manufactures to their Majesties and the Prince Regent, London Warehouse No:1 Coventry Street. Impressed mark: BFB with Crown.
