A FINE PAIR OF BARR FLIGHT AND BARR WORCESTER SHELL SHAPED DESSERT DISHES, CIRCA 1810-13.

Beautifully decorated in a rich pattern of continuous gilt vermicelli seaweed, reserved on a pale salmon gound, highlighted with gilded classical motifs and each with a central painted named scene.

"Cop Stone Stone, Devon" & "View at Ballyroan Co. Dublin"

Full marks under: Flight Barr & Barr Proprietors of the Royal Porcelain Works Worcester Est 1751, and with the Royal cypher and Prince of Wales feathers. Set within a round quoting Manufactures to their Majesties and the Prince Regent, London Warehouse No:1 Coventry Street. Impressed mark: BFB with Crown.
