Description:
A FINE MAHOGANY GEORGE II CHESTNUT BUCKET. A very example of a bucket on stand with a liner to fill with roasted chestnuts. The cylindrical body with a shaped apron and short cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. A small drawer is fitted to the front, presumably for utensils. Unusually the body has applied carved foliate scroll decoration. Provenance: With Norman Adams, London.
