A FINE LATE 18TH CENTURY OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER BASKET, CIRCA 1780.
Of pierced boat shaped form, with a reeded border over a variety of decorative pierced work and engraved swags and roundels & flowers. To the ends are applied oval mounts depicting classical draped females in the style of Flaxman.
