Description:
A LATE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST OF SMALL PROPORTIONS. CIRCA 1780. The moulded top cross banded in rosewood over four graduated drawers (the top drawer with a fitted slide) with corresponding crossbanding and over a shaped apron and splay feet. Retaining fire gilded oval handles. A pleasing small chest with fine features, the whole is a lovely colour and patination with the use of beautifully toned & figured flame veneers.
