A SUPERB PAIR OF FLIGHT BARR & BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN DESSERT PLATES, CIRCA 1804-13. Painted by Thomas Baxter An exquisite pair of plates, each with gilt borders and a wide band of continuous scrolling foliate decoration upon a pale orange ground, around a central finely painted panel of brightly coloured sea shells, seaweed and coral. Full script and impressed marks under. It is worth noting that this mark only appears on the factories best wares. And in this case painted by the finest shell painter Thomas Baxter.
