AN 18TH CENTURY ITALIAN GILWOOD & MARBLE CONSOLE TABLE, CIRCA 1775. A fine table of shaped serpentine form in the rococo style.The shaped red sienna marble top with a moulded edge, over the twin cabriole style legged base, extravagantly carved with foliate scrolls and fruit and with an unusual entwined serpent and shell uniting the lower section.
