A FINE QUALITY LATE 18TH CENTURY OVAL TEA CADDY, GEORGE III CIRCA 1785-1795 The top inlaid in shaded satinwood with an oval patera in marquetry of conch shells, the front inlaid with a foliate ring tied leaf frond design. Retaining its original inner lid and much of the original lead lining.
