Description:
A GARNITURE OF THREE SPODE VASES. ENGLISH CIRCA 1821-23.
Of beaker or trumpet shape, the larger vase raised on a spreading round foot, each embossed with three bands of beaded white pearls, decorated in the vibrant pattern 3236 with panels of brightly painted shells and coral, reserved on a solid gilt ground. The reverse of each highly decorated in gilt with formal grotesque motifs.
