Description:
A FINE MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE BOOKCASE, GEORGE III CIRCA 1800.
Of a desirable colour and patination, with a good use of mahogany flame veneers. The pedimented top over four astragal glazed doors. The central section with two dummy drawers, the fall opening to reveal a fitted secretaire drawer with an arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes & with a tooled leather writing surface, and over a large two door cupboard. Flanked either side by two short drawers over a cupboard, one fitted for bottles. The whole raised on a plinth base.
