A REGENCY PERIOD ROSEWOOD DESK BOOK CARRIER. GEORGE IV, CIRCA 1820.
Of oblong form, the top with a three sided turned spindle gallery with turned carrying handles, over a base with a gadrooned border and with a single shallow drawer to the rear. The whole of a lovely rich colour and patination.
