A FINE PAIR OF FLIGHT BARR & BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN URNS & COVERS. CIRCA 1815-20.


Each having gilt gadrooned borders, the bodies with bead white pearl waist & gilded rams head handles and with a spreading round foot upon a square base. Painted with exotic birds to one side and with painted named scenes to the other, “Binstead Cottage, Isle of White” and “Murcroft Abbey, Kilarney, Ireland” within shaped and raised gilded panels upon a deep rich blue ground. The covers with gilt knop finials and finely painted specimen butterflies.


Full red manufacturers script marks and impressed mark to bases.
