Description:

A FINE GEORGE III WORK/WRITING TABLE IN FADED ROSEWOOD. CIRCA 1800.

The rounded oblong cross banded hinged top opening to reveal a fitted removable tray above a lower fitted compartment. The body with two dummy and one single drawer to the front fitted with brass round handles, and a long shallow drawer to the side fitted for pens and ink bottles. Raised on four square and tapering legs, united by a low concave shaped shelf and terminating in brass caps and castors. Overall line stringing decoration. the whole of a lovely colour.
