A RARE PAIR OF OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER TANKARDS.
BY HENRY TUDOR & CO., CIRCA 1765-1770.
Rare pair of first period Old Sheffield Plate tankards, each of tapering circular form, scroll handle with heart shaped terminal, domed cover, rope work thumb piece, on spread circular base. Impressed makers mark to rim, one with impressed mark on lid also.
