Description: A George III Two-Handled Cheese Warmer, circa 1800. Of rounded oblong form, double lined with a hot water void, gadrooned border, scroll handles with turned ivory grips, the hinged cover with a loop reeded handle and engraved with an armorial. The side with a hinged water spout. L:31.2cm (12.2ins). The arms are those of Harbord quartering Morden impaling Venables quartering Vernon, for the marriage on 19th September 1809 of Edward Harbord, later 3rd Baron Suffield to Georgina, daughter of the 2nd Baron Vernon. Motto: Aequanimiter, with equanimity.
