Description: A fine oval shaped Adam style sauce tureen & cover decorated with applied festoon ornament of swags & paterae. Crested. Probably by J. Hoyland & Co. An identical tureen is illustrated in "History of Old Sheffield Plate" by F. Bradbury page 329. George III circa 1770
