A Fine 19th Century Ash & Elm Windsor Chair English, circa 1840
This elegant high-back Windsor chair features a spindled arched back rest with a central pierced splat carved with the Prince of Wales's Feathers. Shaped arm rails rest on turned spindles above a contoured elm seat,s upported by turned baluster legs joined by stretchers. The chair exhibits a beautifully mellow, aged patina typical of well-preserved & used example.
