A RARE SMALL MAHOGANY FRENCH HEPPLEWHITE STYLE BUTTERFLY PEMBROKE, GEORGE III, CIRCA 1780. A delightful Pembroke table of unusually small proportions with twin drop flaps pleasingly butterfly shaped. The moulded top over the rare feature of two opposing drawers which are shaped, scalloped and moulded to form the frieze, retaining their original oval loop brass handles; raised on four slender cabriole legs, tapering down to fine gilded scrolled & foliate toe caps. Outstanding & desirable colour & patination. Width: 35.5”  Depth: 21.5”  Height: 27.5”
