A PAIR OF IMPORTANT 18TH CENTURY ADAM PERIOD GILTWOOD DRAWING ROOM CHAIRS.ENGLISH CIRCA 1780.

Beautifully carved in the neoclassical taste with motifs including paterae & ribbon garlands to the arched top rail, acanthus leaves to the swept arms & trailing harebells to the tapering legs, and with largely original gilding.

Provenance: Formerly with Apter Fredericks, 265-267 Fulham Road, London.
