A GARNITURE OF THREE BLOOR DERBY BOUGH POTS, CIRCA 1820

Description:

A FINE GARNITURE OF 18TH CENTURY BOUGH POTS. 

Of bow fronted bombe form with leaf scroll side handles, painted with diverse summer flowers reserved upon a pale green and gilt ground. Raised on scroll feet and retaining their original pierced covers.

The painting is possibly by Thomas Steele (1772-1850) renowned flower painter.

Marked under with makers mark: Bloor Derby.
