A FABULOUS QUEEN ANNE PERIOD CADDY TOP WALNUT CHEST OF SMALL PROPORTIONS.

An absolut gem of a piece from the early 18th Century. This chest has every desirable element one could wish for from this period. The whole is of a lovely colour with the walnut veneer displaying an excellent depth of patination and figuring. The top is quarter veneered and cross banded, with ashallow moulded edge. Over four small moulded edge drawers and two graduated long drawers. Raised on a moulded base with shaped bracket feet. Each drawer retains its very original and highly decorative cast & fire gilded handles & escutcheons.
