Description: A very rare design Old Sheffield Plate double decanter wine trolley, known as a "Jolly Boat" Very few examples of this type of wine trolley exist and this is an exceptional example because of the detailed clinker built design with detailed rowlocks, lions head ring handles to the prow & stern and importantly raised lettering "Jolly Boat" on the stern. Spaces for two decanters & two stoppers. The boat "sails" across the dining table on four wheels. Lovely original condition. George III circa 1800.
