Description: A Regency Period Old Sheffield Plate meat dish of superb quality having a shell, scroll & cast flower border. Finely engraved with armorial & crest.(A lucy's head erect between two ostrich feathers) Motto: Mens conscia recti- A mind conscious of rectitude. Probably the Gascoyne family, Bedfordshire. George IV circa 1825.
