A FINE MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST IN THE MANNER OF HENRY HILL OF MARLBOROUGH. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1770.

The serpentine moulded top with a carved scroll border over a conforming bombe case with shaped sides & three graduated drawers retaining original brass swan neck handles flanked by outstanding front edge corners with corresponding scroll carving, over a scalloped apron, and raised on splay feet. Superb use of mahogany flame veneers throughout.
