A FINE SATINWOOD TEA CADDY. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1780.

Of oblong octagonal form, cross banded in tulipwood, box & rosewood and with ebony stringing. The hinged top with a central oval inlaid shell over cut corners with inlaid stylised pedestal urns with leaves & flowers, the front with two oval panels again with inlaid urns & flowers. Exceptional quality throughout.
