Description:

A RARE BARR FLIGHT & BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN GOBLET, CIRCA 1800. The shield shape goblet, finely decorated with bat prints of classical Roman deities Neptune, Vulcan and Juno between to bold gilt bands, the lower half of the goblet monogrammed "JW" in gilt along with gilt stars and Acorns and leaves. The stem and foot with grey marbled decoration. Marked to the underside with printed Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain mark referring to the Coventry Street address in London. Provenance: The David & Sarah Battie Collection.
