AN 18TH CENTURY OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER WAX JACK, CIRCA 1790.
Of wire-work lyre form on an oval base, reeded border, ring handle and thumb plate. The coiled wax taper supported on a central horizontal screw bar, and with a conical snuffer on chain.
