A FINE LATE 18TH CENTURY SEGMENTED TOP MAHOGANY DEMI-LUNE CARD TABLE. GEORGE III CIRCA 1785.
A stunning quality example, the segmented demi-lune top radiating out from a central satinwood veneered fan, and feather edged in boxwood & ebony, above a cross banded panel veneered frieze with a central inlaid conch shell; raised on four tapering and line strung legs. This table has double gate leg action and is larger than the standeard size of table for the period.
