A SUPERB & RARE PAIR OF HERCULANEUM PORCELAIN FRUIT COOLERS & COVERS FROM THE IMPORTANT LIVERPOOL COPORATION SERVICE, CIRCA 1820.
Of superb quality, each of classic vase form with covers decorated in all over foliate gilt and white motifs with multiple reserved panels incorporating the Arms of Liverpool and on a rich orange ground. The coolers with gilded lions head handles. The covers with gilded cormorant heads (Liver Birds).
