A FINE PAIR OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY PARIS VASES. FRENCH, CIRCA 1820.
A superb pair of classically shaped vases, exquisitely decorated with oval panels of finely painted animals, birds and landscapes, reserved upon the most stunning gilded decoration. The vases are raised on marbled square bases and four gilded paw feet. Exceptional quality throughout.
"Old Paris" or "Vieux Paris" porcelain was produced in and around the City of Paris by over thirty different factories from the mid 1700,s through to the end of the Second Empire.
