Description: A Regency period Old Sheffield cheese warmer. A very rare & complete cheese warmer of two handled oblong form raised on four bun feet. The detatchable cover opening to reveal six individual cheese dishes. Well engraved crestg to cover with the motto "Forward". Circa 1820. Similar illustrated in Bradbury's History of Old Sheffield Plate page 418.
