A CHAMBERLAINS WORCESTER PORCELAIN DESSERT DISH, CIRCA 1810
Of distinctive oval lozenge form, the rim with an elegant looped and pierced border, the centre painted in full colour with a heraldic crest depicting an armoured figure. This is enclosed within a deep cobalt-blue ground, richly decorated with a broad band of stylised foliage, finely tooled in gold. Script mark to the underside: “Chamberlains Worcester No. 126.” 11in x 8.5in
