AN UNUSUAL OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER MUSTARD POT, CIRCA 1775.
An 18th Century mustard pot of unusual eight sided form. Having an engraved hinged lid with a pierced thumb plate, a scrolled handle, pierced and chased body and with a blue glass liner. The engraved crest to the lid has the motto: Animis et Fato (Courage & Fortune.) Scottish family, possible Triplett.
