A RARE REGENCY PERIOD KINGWOOD "D" SHAPED CARD TABLE. CIRCA 1815-20.
The swivel action top with a wide cross banding and over a deep frieze with stylised line inlay, and gilt bronze edge mount and on a central turned column support, raised on four scroll legs with fabulous cast and gilt scroll mounted castors. It is rare to find a piece of furniture veneered entirely with Kingwood (Brazilian hardwood)as it was one of the most expensive veneers of the 18th Century.
