Description: A Rare Carriage Lamp,
circa 1800. A rare carriage lamp with a hinged top with hanging hooks, over a semi-circular body with a hinged front, opening to reveal a glass panel. Inside is a telescopic candle holder which extends down to a circular reeded brass foot. Attached hinged lid match container. Height extended: 21cm (8.3ins ).Origin: English
