Description: A good quality old sheffield plate coffee pot, having an oval lid with round ball finial over an oval shaped body with a beautifully worked brightcut border and with a carved woodenhandle. Oval engraved panel with a crest bearing the motto Virescit Vulnere Virtus (Virtue flourishes from a wound). Circa 1790.
