CHAMBERLAINS WORCESTER PORCELAIN DESSERT PLATE, CIRCA 1815

A finely decorated early 19th Century dessert plate, the centre painted in bright colours with a heraldic crest of an imaginary seahorse, within a circular garland of leaves and berries enclosed within a gilt-edged roundel. Encircling the central reserve is a wide deep orange-ground band, richly embellished with continuous white & gilt flowers, while the rim is finished with double gilt banded edge. The underside bears Chamberlains Worcester in script.
