A Fine George III Satinwood and Giltwood Demi-Lune Console Table, English, Circa 1775
An elegant late 18th-century demi-lune console table, the satinwood semi-circular top is inlaid with a striking radial fan motif, bordered with delicate crossbanding. Below, the carved giltwood frieze features fluting and moulded edges, all raised on a central fluted scroll leg adorned with a carved gilt rosette. A highly attractive piece of desirable small proportions, retaining a lovely honey colour and fine gilding.
