A LATE 18TH CENTURY SHERATON ROSEWOOD GAMES TABLE, GEORGE III CIRCA 1795.
An outstanding and versatile table in faded rosewood of a fabulous colour. The twin flap top with a reversible slide revealing a backgammon well and chequer board playing surface, flanked by cribbage, and over a single shallow fitted drawer and one dummy drawer. To the rear are two dummy drawers. Raised on four square and tapering legs with fluted panels to the frieze, brass caps and castors. Retaining original fire gilded handles.
