Description:
A FINE EARLY 18TH CENTURY WALNUT KNEEHOLE DESK. GEORGE I, CIRCA 1720. Of a fine rich colour and patination. The oblong & moulded quarter veneered top with a wide crossbanded edge and with a narrow herringbone band, over a slide and one long drawer. The recessed cupboard and shallow drawer flanked on each side by three short graduated drawers, each with corresponding herringbone bands. The whole raised on four bracket feet.
